The Daily Show Crowd Surfing

K, so I have two cool things to report. I was invited to The Daily Show "Ten F#@king Years" (The Concert.) It was a party for the show in its tenth anniversary year and in support of the non-profit tutoring organization 826NYC. Although John Stewart was not there in person, his video taped contribution was apprciated. All of the correspondents were there. Samantha B did a funny skit involving "Tiny Timmy" who lived in her lipstick tube. The guy from the Mac/PC commercials (the PC) made some jokes about 911 and was constantly ignoing the people in the audience yelling "I'm a PC!" It was a fun night.

Then, last night I ate some wings with peeps, then went to see +44! Mark and Travis from Blink are two of the members. Travis was drumming with one hand because the other is full of stress fractures. He is awesome, it gave me chills. The coolest part was going crowd surfing twice! I've got to try and track down a youtube video of it. I left the show soaked with other people's sweat and one less button. It was awesome.

Home Dawg

I came across these pics from home. Nikki, is the freak jumping on the beach, and the other is the "blob" my mom bought for the pond. That day, everyone came over to take a ride off the blob, swim, eat hamburgs, and relax. I wish I could spend more summer days like this at home.
