Semi Athletes Semi Win

Tonight we put up a good fight. We played our first game with only 3 players against 4. It was close, but we lost. Our 4th team memeber made it in time for the last two games. We kicked the last two game's butt. I had to dive for a ball and I got a big bloody turf burn on my knee, but it was all worth it for the win. I'm surprised I didn't get a thigh burn since they were so exposed because of the small jammers I wore (see photo.) Semi Athletes 8-1!

Pool Party!

JellyNYC presents POOL PARTIES @ Mccarren Park! Every Sunday for the rest of the summer this old emptied out huge pool will have bands preforming during the day for free! I went yesterday and it was very entertaining. They had free ice cream, dodgeball, hula hooping, Brooklyn Lager, hot dogs and hamburgs, and hipsters as far as the eye could see. I tried my best to look like a hipster yesterday but I think the crocs threw the whole outfit off. Williamsburg, Brooklyn is very hipstered out. It was a really cool vibe at the park and the best part of it all is that it is free. I plan on going back again hopefully bringing the girls from home.
