Dodos
Most of my day was spent making maps and creating pictures of the plot to bomb the NJ PATH train. This dodo was trying to figure out how to blow up any connection between Manhattan and NJ. The whole time I'm thinking, that's the train I take to go to work! What an effing loser. I wonder if the girls in this picture were in on it too. The one on the left looks like she hasn't seen the sun in a long time. Are Americans getting jaded by the word terrorist? We hear it everyday and it seems every other week the FBI uncovers another plot to blow something up.

KABOOM

Monday was a great day to hang out in the city because everyone except me had Tuesday, the 4th off. I met up with Katie, Rob and Mike at Earl's on 3rd Ave. Till then, I had never really hung out in Murry Hill or even walked around in the area. It's a nice place. Then after that, we went to The Water Club's roof bar. It is on the East River and has a great, relaxing, beautiful, breezy, atmosphere if you want to get the feeling that you are out of the city and hanging out on the water. We had many Coors Lights and Kate and I even split a Pina Colada.
I had to work on July 4th but I got out just in time to see the fireworks. It was an awesome show. They had some fireworks that I have never seen before. Some hovered in the air, others sparkled for minutes and there was even 3D shapes. Even though there was a constant sewer smell and a tree blocking my view, it was still a very memorable experience.

1st 4th in the City
Tomorrow is already the 4th of July? Woah. Back home I remember the 4th of July means the corn is knee high and summer is half way over! Here it seems like summer is just starting. Maybe because the weather has been a little touch and go, either raining or kinda chilly. We've had a few days of straight hot sun so that to me means summer is here now. I'm a little sad that I can't be home with my family for the fireworks, but I'll be home in a couple of weeks. My gram, mom and I can take more pictures like this.
