Angels and Airwaves

They sold out the Bowery Ballroom in 17 minutes. I was bummed that I didn't get tickets in time. Then two days ago, a day before the show, I went through the site to buy tix and whatddoyaknow?? They were available. They must have released some at the last minute. For those of you who don't know, Angels and Airwaves is a band that Tom from Blink 182 started. He said he didn't want to write anymore 'catchy' songs, but wanted to write music with meaning and make people feel good. It was a little cheesy the way he said stuff like "OK we are all going to feel the same feeling at the same moment and that feeling is good!" He also made some comments about the war that were a little ambiguous… but still when rockers think they can change the world and stop war that gets annoying. Anyways, I had a great time.
